Joanna Conley was named CEO for Poinciana Medical Center less than a year after being named the hospital's COO and Alan Fabian was named CEO for LewisGale Hospital Montgomery having come over from his role as CEO at Dauterive Hospital in Louisiana.
Joanna joined HCA in 2009 as Osceola Regional Medical Center's Associate Chief Operating Officer and Ethics and Compliance Officer. She later participated in HCA's Executive Development program from which she was promoted to COO of Poinciana Medical Center in 2012.

Joanna exceeded expectations in her COO role affording her the opportunity of promotion to CEO.
The 110,000 square-foot Poinciana Medical Center is expected to open in the summer and will include 30 beds with a 6-bed ICU. Once fully operational, the hospital will employ roughly 200 full-time staff members.
The hospital will offer a broad range of services including 24-hour emergency care, cardiac catheterization, and inpatient and outpatient surgery.
Board certified in healthcare management, Joanna is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and was awarded the North Carolina ACHE Early Careerist of the Year Award in 2007.

“We are excited to have him as part of the LewisGale family as he shares our commitment to high-quality, compassionate care,” Victor Giovanetti, president of Lewis Gale Regional Health System, said.
“Alan brings a wealth of senior executive leadership and operational experience to his new role that helps us continue to build on the strong foundation we’ve established at LewisGale Hospital Montgomery, as well as our health system."
