The Executive Development program is excited to announce the promotion of former EDP associate Kim Hatchel as Chief Nursing Officer of Medical Center of McKinney in HCA's North Texas Division.
Kim has been with HCA since 2007, where she started at HCA's flagship hospital, Centennial Medical Center, as Director of the Hospital Program, along with other clinical roles.
She participated in the Executive Development program in 2010 as an Associate CNO for Summit Medical Center in Hermitage from which she was promoted to Assistant CNO and AVP for Emergency Services in the Clinical Services Group.

She has also served as the nurse manager for the intensive care unit and cardiovascular ICU for Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee.
Kim is currently working on her doctorate in nursing practice at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, and has her Master of Healthcare Administration and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Austin Peay State University.
Kim assumed her new role as CNO of McKinney in December 2012.
