Mark Robinson, formerly COO of the Trident Medical Center in the HCA South Atlantic Division, has been promoted to the CEO of the Lake City Medical Center of HCA North Florida Division. He will officially start his new role on May 1, 2012.

Joyce, FACHE, President, HCA North Florida Division. “The facility has enjoyed a successful history and Mark will be instrumental in continuing its legacy of achievement.”
Mark brings more than eleven years of healthcare administrative experience with him. Prior to his role as COO in the Charleston, South Carolina hospital, he was COO at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Panama City, Florida. He served in Associate Administrator roles at both Aventura Hospital and Medical Center in Aventura Florida, and in Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
He will oversee the 67-bed acute care facility which has provided the Lake City area with more than fifty-five years of service. The hospital goal has always been to offer a broad range of services to Lake City and its surrounding communities, services including cardiovascular, cancer care, Women's Health, general surgical services, orthopedic surgical and outpatient imaging.

Mark received his Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and a Master of Business Administration as well as a Master of Health Administration from Georgia State University. His community involvement has included organizations such as the American Heart Association and the Arthritis Foundation.
