Now, Parallon Business Solutions has added IT Partner Solutions, a provider of healthcare industry technology services, to its portfolio of services. The unit was formerly part of HCA-Information Technology & Services, Inc.
HCA's President and Chief Financial Officer, Milton Johnson says of the addition, "It became clear to us that with the formation of Parallon Business Solutions last year, we had introduced a service organization that could provide significant value to other enterprises, as well as HCA. Under Parallon President and CEO Michael O'Boyle's leadership, the addition of I.T. I.T. Partner Solutions joins Business Performance Group, Workforce Management and Supply Chain organizations, along with HealthTrust Purchasing Group which supports approximately 1,400 not-for-profit and for-profit acute care facilities as well as ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices and alternate care sites.
Prior to becoming part of the Parallon network of services, HCA-Information Technology & Services, Inc. helped healthcare organizations merge business and IT strategies, improve business processes and care for patients.
In its repertoire is clinical and physician technology solutions and consulting, enterprise and financial solutions and IT infrastructure solutions and management. The system has been designed, tested and refined in medical facilities across the nation both inside and outside of HCA.
