This time we highlight the career of Trent Lind, the newly named Chief Executive Officer of Texas Orthopedic Hospital in Houston, Texas, which is a member of the HCA Gulf Coast Division. This is Trent's first time role as a CEO.
Trent started with HCA in 2002 as the Associate Administrator of Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte before moving on in 2006 to become COO at Brandon Regional Hospital in Brandon, Florida.
In 2008 Trent continued his COO roles at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colorado in the Continental Division of HCA.
"I am very excited about being at Texas Orthopedic Hospital and the opportunity to work with the Fondren Orthopedic Group. Coupled with the Fondren surgeons, Texas Orthopedic Hospital remains the premier provider of orthopedic services in the state of Texas," Trent says.
Trent holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He received his undergraduate degree at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
With his ten years of healthcare administration experience, Trent still finds time to pursue his interests in running, scuba diving, hiking and playing soccer and spending plenty of time with his family and friends.
