HCA is excited to announce that James Pittman, Director Transplant Services, has been promoted to Assistant Vice President Transplant Services.
As you may know, James joined NAMC seven years ago as our Director Transplant Services and expanded his role to include Wound Care and Infusion Therapy. As the Transplant Director, he was instrumental in doubling live kidney donation.
James continues to be involved at the local, state, and national level in the transplant community. He also serves as the Vice Chairman for the United Network for Organ Sharing Transplant Administrators Committee.
He is published on Organ Allocation Disparity, and recently KVUE highlighted his article.
James became the Associate Chief Nursing Officer through HCA’s Executive Development Program (EDP) in June 2013 and has had many successes as the ACNO. He was also recognized at the corporate level for his leadership and was a recipient of the EDP Operations Week “Best Team Award”.
James will begin his new role in Nashville on January 19th.
Congratulations, James.
