Becker's Hospital Review has named three HCA leaders in their recent Rising Stars: 25 Healthcare Leaders Under 40.
The three, Dustin Greene, COO of TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Ashley McClellan, CEO of Medical Center of Lewisville in Texas, and Kenneth West, COO of Medical Center of Trinity in Florida, have demonstrated excellence at both HCA and in their personal lives before turning 40.
Dustin has been COO to Skyline Medical since August 2012. Prior to that, he served as COO for another HCA affiliate, Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, Georgia. Early in his HCA career he served as associate administrator at Northlake Medical Center and also as assistant controller at TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center. Dustin earned his MBA from Belmont University in Nashville.
Ashley has served as Medical Center of Lewisville's CEO since December 2011. She had been COO for Lewisville since 2008 prior. In her time as CEO she helped design the first free-standing emergency department with attached outpatient-imaging center, the Flower Mound Emergency Center in North Texas. Ashley has achieved several awards in her career and is a Fellow in ACHE. She holds an MBA and MHA from Texas Women's University in Denton.
Kenneth has been COO with Medical Center in Trinity since February of this year, having come from HCA Virginia's Chippenham/Johnston Willis Medical Center where he'd served as associate COO since 2012. Before that he was associate COO at another HCA Virginia facility, Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. He earned his graduate degree in health systems administration from Georgetown University under the HCA Corris Boyd Scholarship.
Professionals in the Becker's Hospital Review Rising Stars are peer nominated and researched editorially and were under 40 at the time of their nomination.
Another commonality these three particular rising stars share – they are also HCA Executive Development Program graduates.
Congratulations to the three of you.
