BodyMaps is a collaborative project of both San Francisco-based Healthline Networks, the largest provider of consumer health information with a suite of intelligent health search, content and advertising services and Visual Health Solutions, a Colorado-based multimedia communication company who develops 3D digital models of anatomical structures of the human body.
The interactive 3D search tool lets a user explore the human body and select individual organs and its internal parts to learn more about their functions.
It allows a 360 degree view of organs and bones within the body and translates thousands of anatomical and clinical terms into simple, patient-friendly language.
