November 15, 2011 officially signals the start of the application cycle for the 2012 Executive Development Program recruitment phase. For those interested in executive roles as Chief Nursing Officers and Chief Operating Officers within HCA, EDP training is your path to success.
Hundreds will apply, only a handful will be accepted. Our reputation as an industry leader in innovative healthcare compels us to select only the most competent individuals. And this small group of elite talent will be the yardstick by which our future success is measured.
Program Objectives
The program is designed to provide the foundation necessary for you to become a successful administrative leader at HCA. There are many success stories that have come out of the Executive Program and we would be proud to add yours to that list.
Once accepted, you will become a full-time Associate Officer, where you will receive the training necessary to place you on the path for executive leadership within HCA.
Your training includes hands-on administrative experience under a mentor to help you develop critical leadership competencies geared specifically to HCA business strategies.
Your Five Phases To Success
The application process is a five phase operation beginning in the fourth quarter of every calendar year and extends through the first or second quarter of the following year. Here's what the process consists of:
Phase 1: Submit online application with a current resume and two professional or academic references by January 6th 2012.
Phase 2: Complete a comprehensive leadership assessment by your two references.
Phase 3: Telephone interview with a member of the executive development team.
Phase 4: Undergo live panel interview at HCA's corporate office in Nashville, TN.
Phase 5: Receive formal acceptance and facility assignment.
