Ben joined HCA as an administrative resident at Reston Hospital in 2008. In 2011 he was accepted into the HCA COO Development Program.
While at Reston Hospital Ben was responsible for laboratory services, food and nutrition, environmental services, physical therapy and respiratory therapy.
He led multiple Lean initiatives, patient satisfaction efforts, and the hospital’s healthy aging strategy.
Most recently Ben coordinated the successful development an opening of StoneSprings Emergency Center located on the future campus of StoneSprings Hospital.
He has also served as the hospital's chief staffing officer and co-ethics and compliance officer.
Ben received his bachelor's from Colorado State University and his master's in health services administration from George Washington University.
He starts his new role as StoneSprings COO in January 2014.
